Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn has claimed on Twitter that he was "given the opportunity" to direct a DC Comics based movie.
"I’ve been given the opportunity," Gunn said on twitter in response to a fan asking if he'd ever direct a DC film. "But who knows. Maybe?"
