Marvel Studios' Black Panther has earned seven Academy Awards nominations including for "Best Picture." Additionally, Sony Pictures Animation's Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse was nominated for "Animated Feature Film" (the category it won in the recent Golden Globes), and Avengers: Infinity War picked up a lone nod for "Visual Effects."
